    Title: The Journey of Creativity and Passion in the SV STARTUP Contest – 6th Edition

    Today, I would like to share our impressions — our project team “Chom Chom Roasted Seeds – Rambutan fairy” from Lac Hong University — after participating in the “Students with Startup Ideas” contest – SV STARTUP 6th Edition. This was a journey full of creativity and passion, and we were extremely proud to present at this important competition.

    With entrepreneurial thinking and a passion for the business field, we decided to introduce the idea “Chom Chom Roasted Seeds – Rambutan fairy” — a unique and innovative project. Inspired by the rich culinary culture of our country, we chose to utilize the seeds of the Rambutan fruit — known locally as Chom Chom — to create a refined and unique roasted snack. Not only is it an enjoyable food item, but the rambutan seeds also deliver nutritional benefits.

    Rambutan seeds contain energy-supplying nutrients such as carbohydrates and natural sugars, abundant vitamin C, dietary fiber, and antioxidants. When roasted, they retain most of their nutrients, providing a natural and healthy source of nourishment.

    The contest took place over three days, from 11 May 2024 to 13 May 2024 at Can Tho University. These were three intense and thrilling days where we had the opportunity to present our idea in front of judges and other startup enthusiasts. This truly created a platform where we not only shared our ideas, but also learned from others, built valuable connections, and gained priceless experience in developing the project.

    With dedicated support and knowledge sharing from Associate Professor PhD Nguyen Van Tan — Head of the Faculty of Administration International Economics — we learned many valuable lessons about entrepreneurship and project management. This heartfelt support genuinely inspired us, helping us overcome challenges and develop our idea into a project that could move forward.

    I, Pham Thi Vo Hong Dieu — Team Leader of the project “Chom Chom Roasted Seeds – Rambutan fairy” — participated in the SV STARTUP 6th Edition not just to win awards, but also as an opportunity to explore myself, push past limits, and develop skills in project management, communication, and creativity. I learned many things from my teammates and the judges, and these experiences will continue to accompany me in the future.

    Although the SV STARTUP 6th Edition has concluded, our journey with the project “Chom Chom Roasted Seeds – Rambutan fairy” continues. We are determined to turn this idea into a commercial reality and contribute to the development of the Vietnamese food industry.

    I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the organizing committee, the judges, my teammates, and my family for always accompanying and supporting us throughout this process. The support and encouragement from everyone have been a tremendous motivation, enabling us to overcome difficulties and continue to develop.

    The project “Chom Chom Roasted Seeds – Rambutan fairy” is a beginning step for us on the path of entrepreneurship. I believe that with creativity, passion, and support from the community, we will achieve great success in the future.
