With the aim of making learning activities practical and creating a meaningful playground for students, the Faculty of QTKTQT organized the “Search for Talented CEO” contest. The contest attracted 150 students, divided into three rounds:
Preliminary Round: Students completed 25 multiple-choice questions to select 50 students advancing to the next round.
Semifinal Round: Students produced a video clip introducing themselves to showcase personal talents and business passion, selecting 10 students to advance to the Final.Final Round: Consisted of two parts: Oratory and Situation Response.
On 28 December 2023, the Final round took place in an energetic and competitive atmosphere to select the most outstanding contestant. This event was important for identifying and honoring exceptional leadership talents among faculty students. The contest was honored to have members of the judging panel who are leading experts in their fields:
PhD. Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of the Faculty of Administration and International Economics, Head of the Jury;
Mr. Le Nhu Thuan – Director of Dong Nai Post Office, Faculty-level Industrial Advisory Board Member, Jury Member;
Mr. Le Quyet Thang – Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, Director of Tacom Group Investment Consulting Co., Ltd., Deputy Head of the Faculty-level Industrial Advisory Board, Jury Member;
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung – Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, Director of Hung Thinh Phat Co., Ltd., Faculty-level Industrial Advisory Board Member, Jury Member;
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Deputy Director of Bao Viet Life Company, Dong Nai, Representative of the comprehensive strategic partner, Jury Member.
In the Final round, 10 contestants delivered speeches on various topics to demonstrate their leadership ability and CEO talents. The judges provided feedback on each contestant and selected five outstanding contestants to advance to the next stage. Each contestant then drew a random leadership and management situation to solve and defend before the Jury. After tense and suspenseful moments and a fair, objective evaluation process, the Organizing Committee announced the best contestants of the competition:

First Prize: Bui Thi Tuyet Nhung – Class 22QT111. With outstanding performance and leadership ability, Tuyet Nhung truly deserved to become the Talent CEO of 2023. She received a prize of 3,000,000 VND, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors. Despite being only a second-year student, her continuous spirit of learning helped her win the highest award.
Second Prize: Pham Thi Vo Hong Dieu – Class 21QT112. Dieu’s dedication and talent impressed the judges. She received 2,000,000 VND, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors, gaining experience and gradually fulfilling her CEO aspirations through student union activities.
Third Prize: Nguyen Thi Be Tram – Class 22QT112. Be Tram showed patience and creativity throughout the competition. She received 1,000,000 VND, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors, and continued to pursue her CEO goals with her approachable and friendly character.
Encouragement Awards: Le Huy Nhat Truong – Class 23QT111 and Pham Thi Kieu Oanh – Class 21QT112. Both demonstrated great effort and potential, each receiving 500,000 VND, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors.
The 2023 Talent CEO Search competition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their leadership abilities. It served as an important platform for discovering and honoring young talents at the university. It is hoped that these awards and recognitions will motivate young talents to continue striving and growing in the future. We believe that talented CEOs such as Tuyet Nhung, Dieu, Be Tram, Nhat Truong, and Kieu Oanh will generate breakthrough ideas and projects that elevate both businesses and society to new heights.
The competition concluded successfully and left a profound impression on everyone. Congratulations and encouragement go to all participants who achieved these proud accomplishments. Many future opportunities and challenges await on your path to leadership. Always trust in your ability and continue to develop to become outstanding future leaders.
