Tracking the proportion of admissions and graduations

Lac Hong University attracts a geographically and culturally diverse student body from across Vietnam, with learners coming not only from Dong Nai province but also from many other provinces nationwide. The university also welcomes international students from developing countries such as Laos, Cambodia, and China, further enriching its multicultural environment. Along with the Kinh majority, Dong Nai province is home to many ethnic minority communities including the Choro, Ma, S’tieng, Dao, Khmer, Tay, and Nung peoples, who together contribute to the rich cultural fabric of the region. Many of our students are the first in their families to pursue higher education, reflecting our role in expanding access and opportunities for learners from varied backgrounds. We celebrate this diversity as a strength and remain committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive academic environment where all students can thrive.

To foster an environment of continuous improvement and student success, Lac Hong University (LHU) has been continuously monitoring data and statistics demographics in various dimensions. The holistic monitoring of student statistics serves as a critical intelligence baseline for effective university administration. This practice ensures that all operational and academic policies are informed by evidence, thereby guaranteeing equitable and high-quality support that addresses the needs of the entire student community.

Tracking student admissions is beneficial for the university in developing various projects and curricula to support students.

Lac Hong University has systematically tracked the application rate and acceptance rate of women by recording the data in the application system and statistics of admitted students each year operated and managed by the Office of Academic Affairs. In addition, such data is analyzed to improve policies to achieve gender equality in response to creating equal opportunities in all fields of study.

In addition, Lac Hong has been tracking student graduation rates by gender, using each year's graduation data to analyze the chances of graduation between women and men. Furthermore, if a gender gap in graduation is found, we implement measures to help close the gap, such as academic mentoring programs for women and support for specific skills to help increase the chances of graduation for all genders equally.
