LHU students excited by X-Game "English Quest – Language Challenge 2025"

On March 23 morning, 2025, the Faculty of English Language, LHU successfully organized the X-Game "English Quest – Language Challenge" competition for non-English major students. The event attracted 8 teams from 8 different faculties within the University.

The competition was designed to encourage students to creatively apply English through interactive games while developing their communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. It also provided a dynamic learning environment, fostering connections among students and strengthening inter-faculty exchanges.

The event featured 5 thrilling challenge stations: Spelling Bee (Who will be the Spelling King?); Act It Out (Describe words by actions - guess the Word); Grammar Obstacle Course (Overcome obstacles to form grammatically correct sentences); Picture Puzzle (Solve picture-based puzzles to reveal tricky keywords) and Tongue Twister Challenge (Say it fast, say it right - Who will win?).

Throughout the 90-minute competition, teams tackled five challenge stations with high determination. Each station offered a distinct challenge, and winners earned encrypted puzzle pieces. The fastest team to solve the final puzzle was declared the winner.

After intense rounds of competition, the top teams were officially crowned. The Organizers awarded First, Second and Third prizes to the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Administration – International Economics, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, respectively. Consolation prizes were given to the remaining teams.

Sharing her thoughts on the competition, Pham Thi Van Anh, a third-year student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, expressed "This is an amazing and memorable experience for us. Beyond enhancing our English skills, we actively develop our teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Despite finishing in Third place, we are incredibly proud of our efforts and the unforgettable memories we made with our friends."

In addition to serving as an English practice platform, the Competition helps students develop essential soft skills while fostering a spirit of learning and creativity. The success of X-Game "English Quest – Language Challenge" highlights LHU students' enthusiasm and dynamism, promising more exciting and valuable activities in the future.
