Seminar on “Accounting in the Era of Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Employment Opportunities for Fresh Graduates”

On October 3, 2025, at Hall A301 – Campus 1, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting successfully organized a seminar entitled “Accounting in the Era of Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Employment Opportunities for Fresh Graduates.” The event was part of the Faculty’s academic activities for the 2025–2026 academic year, aiming to equip students with updated knowledge on digital transformation, emerging technological applications in accounting, and career orientation in the context of a rapidly evolving labor market.

The seminar was honored to welcome representatives of the University’s Board of Rectors, the Faculty’s leadership, distinguished lecturers, along with a large number of current students and alumni. Particularly, the program had the privilege of hosting guest speakers from MISA Joint Stock Company – a leading enterprise in accounting software solutions in Vietnam – including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trieu, Business Director, and Ms. Nguyen Le Hien Thao, Training Cooperation Manager.

During the session, the guest speakers presented practical insights into the application of MISA accounting software in corporate financial and accounting management, introducing new AI-integrated features designed to automate data processing, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency. The speakers also emphasized the professional competencies that accounting students need to develop in the digital era, highlighting the importance of analytical thinking, digital literacy, and adaptability to modern work environments.

In addition to the academic discussion, the seminar featured a variety of engaging activities, including welcoming performances, interactive games, and an open Q&A session with the speakers, fostering an atmosphere of connection between faculty members, businesses, and students. Many students actively raised questions about career development, labor demand in the AI era, and opportunities within technology-driven enterprises. The guest speakers responded enthusiastically, sharing valuable experiences and inspiring students to pursue continuous learning and professional growth in modern accounting.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting expressed its appreciation by presenting thank-you letters and flowers to the speakers and partner organizations. The event concluded in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Nguyen Van Hai – Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, emphasized that organizing academic programs connected to real-world practice is a long-term direction of the Faculty, aiming to help students not only master specialized knowledge but also strengthen professional skills to meet the demands of the digital economy. He also extended sincere thanks to the University’s Board of Rectors, MISA Joint Stock Company, and all lecturers who contributed to the success of the program.

The seminar on “Accounting in the Era of Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Employment Opportunities for Fresh Graduates” served as a meaningful bridge between academia and industry, providing Lac Hong University students with a deeper understanding of the evolving trends in the accounting profession and motivating them to continuously learn, practice, and confidently integrate into the Industry 4.0 era.
